It’s that time of the year again when the weather outside turns cold and gloomy and all it makes us want to do is curl up on the couch, tracksuit, and heater on with some snacks watching the tv! 
 
 
However, we have all had the struggle of sitting there and scrolling through all the tv shows and movies out there and trying to work out what we feel like watching, to help we that we have gone around and asked all our staff what their
recommendations are and given a quick run down to help you out. 
  
 

Our Warehouse Manager Jesse is watching Queen Charlotte, a historical drama that follows young Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power in the late 18th century. The series is a prequel spin-off of the Netflix series Bridgerton. It currently has one season with six episodes that you can find on Netflix.

 

We have our warehouse supervisors Elli and Ruby recommending comedy dramas. 

Elli is watching Netflix's newly released Beef. This story follows two strangers who get into a road rage incident that brings chaos into their lives. This 10-episode long season has people raving over it saying Beef combines drama with action and comedy to create the perfect balance.

 

Ruby is watching Bones - a 12-season-long series from 2005 - 2017. With many plot summaries seen over time, a short recap describes Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan and FBI Agent Seeley Booth forming an unlikely alliance to solve cases by examining the remains of victims. You can stream all 246 episodes on Disney+.

 

Our Warehouse assistants gave us plenty of quality suggestions. 

Vinny loved the movie Collateral, a Thriller/Crime about a cab driver who finds himself the hostage of an engaging contract killer as he makes his rounds from hit to hit during one night in Los Angeles. Starring Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and Jada Pinkett Smith, and many people reviewing this one as a ‘masterpiece’ is definitely one to watch. Find this one on Stan or Binge.

 

Gemma is watching Firefly Lane which stars Katherine Heigl, Sarah Chalke, and Ben Lawson. We follow along the story of Tully and Kate who meet as young girls on Firefly Lane and become inseparable friends who support each other through good times and bad with an unbreakable bond that carries them from their teens to their forties. You can watch this tv 2 season-long series from start to finish on Netflix. This one we highly recommend!!

 

 

Chris has got Call The Midwife on her tv watching a group of nurse midwives working in the East End of London in the late 1950s dealing with the pressures of their day-to-day lives while trying to cope with the changes in the world around them. Check out Stan or Binge to find this tv series.

 

 

We have our Marketing Supervisor Kirsty watching All American which is about Spencer James, a rising football player who makes the shift to an affluent Beverly Hills school on his coach's advice. He struggles to find his footing as the new team is threatened by his arrival. If you love a sports drama this series will give you 5 seasons of just that! Find it on Stan.

 

And Skye who is a part of our marketing team is watching the newest season of The Kardashians, We all love watching the members of the Kardashian-Jenner family give a look into their lavish lifestyles while they deal with the problems in their relationships and businesses together.
